Mom's Treasure

I finally got my hands on the ultimate hand-me-down.
I'm calling it my mom's treasure because that's exactly what it is...my moms personal recipe book.
What with it's worn in cover, hand written recipes and pages full of stains from all the times she used them, could it get any better? You cannot buy this kind of originality!
I have good memories growing up with this little black book close at hand while watching my mom bake, always licking a left over bowl or spoon.
Between my sister (inlaw) and I we have decided that it is just too good not to share. So once a month will be selecting one of mom's recipes to share on the blog.
Can't wait to start cooking and sharing her little hidden gems.
