Trend | Rose Gold
If you haven't noticed already. Rose Gold has become a huge trend lately.
From Jewellery to Fashion or Weddings to Home Decor, you will find rose gold accents everywhere.
Also known as pink or red gold, rose gold become popular in Russia over the nineteenth century and became known as Russian Gold. It has become more popular in the 21st Century.
It is a mixture of pure yellow gold with a high percentage of copper...and really is beautiful.
Needless to say I totally gave in to the trend with this rose gold watch. In Love.

Monkey & Mole...yet another talented lady I have been Instagram stalking for a while now (are you picking up that I do that a lot)
Moccasins have always been on my wish list for Harvey, from the moment I found out I was pregnant. I quickly realised that while there was hardly any variety in South Africa, there are so many to choose from in the US and UK. From Freshlypicked to Minimocks, moccasins are available in a variety of colours and various price points to suit you.
After a bit of research though, I discovered Monkey & Mole. A UK based mom (Chrissy) who creates the most amazing little moccs, sandals and headbands.
Chrissy has designed the coolest looking moccasins I have ever seen, the Street Style Moccasin. Take my word for it, you will not be disappointed! Chrissy was so helpful corresponding via email and when I finally received my purchase I was completely blown away. They are beautifully hand crafted and so incredibly soft (which I was not expecting) perfect for Harveys crawling/walking stage. Although at present her website is under construction, when it is up and running again, do yourself a favour and go have a look. There are fabulous new designs on the way. These are a little too big for harvey at the moment but he will grow into them quickly, and we can not wait.

Today.
Today I miss her.
Today I miss her so much, that the pain sits like a weight on my chest.
Its been two weeks since she died…and I find myself terrified i’ll forget things. Forget how she smiled or rolled her eyes, how she answered the phone or how thrilled she would be getting a smile from harvey.
Yesterday my family and I took on the task of clearing out her cupboards. Something we were determined to make one of our “remember when we nearly peed our pants laughing?” moments…I think we succeeded, for her.
But today…today it cuts like a knife.
Its hard to comprehend how a person with so much determination, personality…so much love could come down to a little rectangle box on the mantle piece.
I need her.
Its selfish but I still need her guidance, her opinion, I need her to see harvey crawl, sit…walk.
Thats the part that hurts the most. I know I will see her again someday soon, but my heart breaks for all the moments she wont see, the things she will miss out on. It slowly carves a chunk out of my heart.
to have her back for one more family dinner, one more gossip session, just one more phone call.
I look back and think I never told her I loved her enough, I didn't show her enough patience.
She was so very strong in her fight, I try to do the same…but today I give in.
